A study in texture, this modern side chair is inspired by Southwestern-style elements such as geometric prints, leather, and natural earth tones. Handmade banding is constructed of multiple layers of maple and walnut and highlights both the stepped back and the slim, tapered legs. A shellac topcoat brings luminosity and depth to the figured cherry frame. The slipseat is built from ash and upholstered with softest lambskin using traditional hand tacking.
