The classic fan back Windsor chair is a delicate-looking yet surprisingly sturdy (and comfortable!) chair wrested by hand from a newly-felled tree. The legs, stretchers, and posts are hard maple, turned on the lathe into fluted, tapered supports for the seat and back. The seat, crest rail, and spindles are hand-shaped from green ash and pine.
