An elegant way to store and organize jewelry or other small collectibles, this continuous-edge box feature three removable, stacking trays and lush decorative details to grace any boudoir. The box frame is solid walnut, while each tray is constructed from hard maple and partially lined with lambskin. The rosewood lid features a mosaic of handcut veneer, depicting a mated pair of great blue herons, and to complete the tableau a lilypad is inlaid on the front of the case. The inside of the lid is veneered with Karelian birch for added texture. Ebony splines provided structural support and a pleasing contrast to the lighter tones in the other woods.
